Recently, Firelight’s Dr. Sadaf Shallwani was one of a series of pioneering speakers from around the world brought together by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation for their New Frontiers in Funding, Philanthropy and Investment Conference.

Firelight was honored to be featured as an “Innovation in Philanthropic Practice” and Dr. Shallwani presented the learnings and co-created approaches and tools that Firelight uses to support community-driven systems change for children and youth in eastern and southern Africa.
