Thank you Northland Controls Systems, Inc.

Northland Controls Systems, Inc. partnered with Firelight to improve living conditions for children in Rwanda. Now 100 family homes are being converted to solar energy in Janja and boys in Kigali are transitioning from living on the streets into stable home environments.
Association Inkoramutima saw that household kerosene lamps were creating toxic emissions and dangerous home settings and decided to promote solar energy in their place. Les Enfants de Dieu brings boys living on the street back into community care. These two Firelight partners are ending poverty and improving children's lives.
Our Advisory Council, staff, program consultants, and technical experts identify and select promising organizations. Their knowledge and expertise helps Firelight partners strengthen their programs and expand their networks and impact.

I had no idea what I was in for, but it ended up being one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Learn more about Fund: Solar Challenge, a partnership with [...]
All contributions to Fund: Solar Challenge will be distributed to the two participating African partners. If we reach our goal, $35,000 will be provided to Association Inkoramatuma and $15,000 will be provided to Les Enfants de Dieu. Firelight will share a final impact report with donors to show how the funds were used when the funds have been spent.
