Jennifer Anderson-Bähr, Senior Program Officer and Development Officer
Jennifer Anderson-Bähr, M.I.A. is responsible for managing Firelight's portfolios in Ethiopia, Lesotho, Kenya and Uganda, as well as our non-African grants. She also supports Firelight's development and communication activities. She has a Master's Degree in International Administration from the School for International Training, Brattleboro, Vt. and has been working in HIV/AIDS prevention since 1987, primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Jennifer joined Firelight in June of 2002, after working as the Program Manager for the Oregon Program for HIV Education and Research. Prior to that, Jennifer worked and lived in Lesotho and South Africa from 1991-2000. She worked for The Valley Trust in Kwa-Zulu/Natal, CARE International in Lesotho, US Embassy-Lesotho, and with many indigenous organizations focused on grass roots, community-level HIV/AIDS prevention and care. She was also on the Executive Committee of the Lesotho Network of AIDS Service Organizations for seven years. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Maia Foundation.
