Scott J Pietka, Program Assistant
Scott J Pietka has been working with the Firelight Foundation as a Program Assistant for Tanzania and Zambia since March 2008. Prior to joining Firelight Foundation, he had lived, worked and volunteered in Tanzania as an Environmental Peace Corps Volunteer for two years assisting his village, Idiidilimunyo with permaculture techniques, HIV/AIDS education, and primary school development. Two years later he worked as the General Manager for Allure Flowers, a fresh-cut exporting rose farm for one year. In 2004, he received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University with a focus on Management.
