Atieno Odhiambo
Director - Legal Empowerment Fund at The Fund for Global Human Rights

Atieno Odhiambo is a dedicated advocate for human rights, democracy, and governance, with a strong commitment to championing access to justice for all. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, she had led initiatives across Africa, offering legal support to states and civil society. She has also contributed her expertise to various organizations in the United States, leveraging her knowledge to promote justice and human rights.

Atieno holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and a law degree from Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is currently the Director of the Legal Empowerment Fund, at the Fund for Global Human Rights where she continues her efforts to champion access to justice, democracy, and human rights on a global scale.
