Ending child marriage

What we do

For more than a decade, Firelight has worked with communities in Eastern and Southern Africa to end child marriage – involving local leaders, religious leaders and parents in identifying the root causes and forging solutions. As a result, the number of child marriages has plummeted and more girls are continuing with their education, safeguarding the health and their futures.
