Jim Laske joined the Firelight team as Program Associate for education initiatives in 2014. Currently as Grants Officer, Jim works closely with Firelight’s Program and Learning Team to provide technical and administrative oversight of Firelight’s grantmaking, systems, and processes to better meet the needs of our team and our grantee-partners.

Jim grew up in Akron, Ohio, but has happily called the West Coast of the US home since 2011. He earned a B.S. in Business Economics from Miami University, an M.A. in International Affairs from Ohio University, and served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in the Kingdom of Tonga in the South Pacific.
